Order keyword research!

    Reviews

    To order keyword research for your website, complete the application form on the website. We’ll contact you and do more than you expect. FIVE.MEDIA was founded in Kyiv in 2006. We're not trying to sound cool. Instead, we hire qualified professionals, regularly improve their SEO skills, send them to international SEO conferences, enroll in Google-Analytics advanced courses, and give them books recommended by Harvard Business School.

    Goals and objectives of a semantic core

    Creating a logical site structure

    Structural design: categories, subcategories, easy-to-find filters, catalog navigation elements, tags, discussion pages, etc. If the structure has already been formed, but the traffic is weak, then we conduct clustering of keys and adjust the topology: we say what pages to add and which ones to make changes to.

    SEO copywriting

    Building a semantic core isn’t enough. You should also implement the data received so that it’s useful. For this, we write technical requirements for copywriters based on the data from the core. Copies written with those requirements are aimed at attracting the target audience.

    Writing meta tags

    The correctness of meta tags directly affects traffic volume, its relevance, conversion, and therefore, profit. The more accurately the title and description fit the page, the more comprehensive data about it is available to search engines, the higher it ranks in the SERP, and the larger audience is attracted.

    Traffic growth

    High-quality keyword research in SEO improves key indicators due to extensive traffic growth. A semantic core containing key Google queries brings the most targeted audience to the site, which boosts conversion and behavioral indicators (session duration, number of pages viewed, bounce rate, etc.)

    Website position growth

    A well-assembled semantic core is a key to success in crowding out competitors. Semantic optimization opens up new entry points to the website. As a result, its presence in the search results increases, traffic from the target audience grows, and with it – the search engine's trust in the resource. The stronger the trust, the better the site ranks, and the higher its position.

    Result tracking

    Statistics let you to see what queries your visitors use to find you on Google. SEO keyword research will allow you to monitor the site’s position in search engines and get an idea of how you can adjust your performance by adding or removing keywords (conversion price, number of orders, traffic).

    How we work

    • We discuss and set the task

      We establish contact between decision-makers. Together with your representatives, we discuss the goals of cooperation, agree on the keyword research strategy, timing, possible differences in optimization process ideas, determine the scope of our responsibilities, answer questions, and take your wishes into account. As a result, we make a work plan and forecast the budget.

    • We analyze the niche and competitors

      When conducting keyword research for niche sites, we study the project (assortment, services, specifics) and figure out its share in the competitive environment. The analysis of search results for key queries related to your activity will show what to focus on and localize a circle of main competitors, whose semantics is beneficial to analyze and take note of in future work.

    • We assemble a semantic core

      To build an ideal semantic core, you need to have a comprehensive understanding of your target audience, its needs, and the ways they seek your services. To do this, we use professional web services that aggregate search Big Data into summaries from tables and charts: Key Collector, Serpstat, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb, SEMrush, etc.

    • We do the search queries clustering

      We group keywords by categories and website pages. This process (clustering) requires a professional keyword research company with specialists who understands the degree of keyword matching. This process can’t be automated – only careful manual separation. At the clustering stage, we compile keyword lists for specified pages and put wrong key queries into a separate list.

    • Redesign and composite the site structure

      Based on a well-assembled and clustered semantic core, we form a structure which is convenient for visitors and correct for search engines. To make sure we don’t miss the opportunities to grow on the most promising queries unsuitable for existing pages, we make a list of pages to create.

    What you need to know about a website semantic core

    What is a website semantic core?

    It’s a set of marker words that most accurately describe the topic and scope of the website. Words in a semantic core are its central concepts or, to put it metaphorically, a calling card a website “shows” to the search engine so that it recognizes and indexes it.
    Graphically, a semantic core can be depicted as a static (unshakable) tag cloud: the central concept always remains in the middle, while less important keywords and combinations fade into the background.

    What are keywords?

    These are meaningful words and word combinations that characterize the content of the document: semantic extract, the essence of what’s being discussed on this page, or the benefits it brings to the reader. The most common and obvious analogy is tags on social media and filters in online stores.
    What’s important In SEO is that keywords are, in fact, user queries to a search engine. In this regard, keywords are divided into types depending on the purpose of search queries, their frequency, and other parameters.

    The main types of key queries

    Commercial

    Words used when looking for a product or service in order to become a client/consumer or to receive material benefits from a transaction.
    Examples:

    • lord of the rings book buy;
    • bus tour tickets;
    • keyword research price.

    Informational

    These are used when a person looks for a way to solve a problem, satisfies an interest, makes inquiries, or needs information not related to purchases or other types of commercial relationships.
    Examples:

    • how to boost iq;
    • what to eat when sick;
    • how to cure cold fast.

    General

    Custom queries that contain a subject of interest but don’t clarify the essence of the search. These queries are usually a single word and have no purpose verbs (such as “buy”).
    Examples:

    • double bike;
    • warner bros studio;
    • rihanna.

    Location-dependent

    Queries that depend on a person’s location and filter the search engine results by geography. Such queries can have features of commercial, informational, and general queries, and all of the above can also be geo-dependent.
    Examples:

    • tourists spots rome;
    • dental clinic denver;
    • boat buy california.

    Apart from that, key queries are divided by the frequency of use into:

    High frequency

    The most popular keywords (like “game of thrones,” “elon musk,” “watch online,” etc.).

    Mid-frequency

    Less popular, or high frequency keywords with clarifications (“game of thrones book,” “swiss army knife,” “clothing logos”).

    Low frequency

    As a rule, these are queries that use special terminology and/or come with narrow-profile clarifications (for example, “power supply 9v 1.5a,” “lens adjustment sandusky,” “guitar fretboard”).

    The benefits of a correct semantic core

    • Correct website structure
      A user-friendly and easy-to-read structure for a search engine increases the credibility of a website and its position in the SERP.
    • Max target audience coverage
      A semantic core is a short, succinct formula of your target audience’s interests and needs. The closer the website semantics to them, the more traffic you’ll receive.
    • Target keywords
      A semantic core contains the most relevant keywords that best satisfy the requests of Internet users interested in your services. Local keyword research will help to optimize a business with a physical address.
    • Precise keywords for contextual advertising
      Contextual advertising needs a semantic core as much as an optimization plan does. In the process of assembling the core keywords, we also form a list of stop words for your context.
    • Website promotion strategy development
      A pro keyword research agency will show you how to change the keyword structure to open new entry points to the website or boost the traffic flow to the existing ones. With the keywords from the semantic core, you can make a plan and technical requirement to start creating SEO-optimized content.

    Who needs to order semantic core development?

    Fast promotion of a new website or bringing an already launched project to the top of the SERP – tasks like these are impossible without a keyword research company.

    New websites

    The best option is to take care of the semantic core even before you start making a website. This way you won’t have to waste time correcting errors and dealing with crises later. If you skip competitive keyword research when starting the project, the money you’ll spend ordering the service later won’t pay off as quickly as it could if the core was ready for the launch.

    Projects with bad traffic

    You need a keyword research service when developing a core and properly optimizing metadata or creating and implementing SEO-friendly category descriptions and services/products pages. Over the past 5 years, not a single promotion strategy for a website losing to competition has been successful without developing a core of semantic keywords.

    Information websites and blogs

    For the content to work, and not just be “good and attractive,” you need to create it according to technical requirements, which, in turn, should be made based on the data from your target audience’s queries. This is the only way to purposefully increase traffic and track content performance. The only alternative approach is to hope for luck.

    FAQ

    When to collect semantics?

    1) Before starting the project (launching the site). If you take care of the semantics of the site before launching it, you won’t have to spend resources on removing the factors hampering the progress. Our SEO keyword research service will make tracking the success of advertising campaigns, creating a promotion plan, and forming technical requirements for copywriters transparent.
    2) When the traffic begins to decline, or if you suspect that the website is missing out on growth opportunities. Upon receiving an Excel file with your website’s semantic core, you can implement the changes (or we can do it) and be sure that you haven’t missed anything.

    Can I develop a semantic core myself?

    Yes, there are tools allowing users to work with key queries (such as Yandex.Wordstat or Google Keyword Planner), but using them requires experience and knowledge in SEO. If you don’t have it, then the risk of making a mistake is too high to neglect.
    In search engine optimization, keyword research is a basic process for promotion, and if the work quality at this stage is below 100%, all subsequent efforts won’t make up for this shortcoming. Bottom line: it’s better to find knowledgeable people and ask them than do sloppy work yourself.
